Monitoring Progress

Overview Tab — Your Dashboard

The Overview tab is the first thing you see when you open the Director Portal. It provides:

• An onboarding checklist showing which setup steps are complete and which still need attention
• Summary statistics — total technicians enrolled, number completed, and overall cohort progress percentage
• Quick links to the most-used sections of the portal

The checklist items turn green as each step is completed. Once all items are checked, your facility is fully set up and your cohort is active.

Progress Tab — Individual Technician Tracking

The Progress tab shows a row for each technician enrolled in your facility’s course. For each technician you can see:

• Name and email address
• Current completion percentage
• Last activity date (when they last logged in and interacted with the course)
• Completion status: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed

What to do if a technician is stuck

If a technician’s progress has not changed in several days and their completion is below 100%, consider:

1. Checking whether they received their welcome email (look at their enrollment date in the roster).
2. Reaching out to them directly to ask if they have logged in.
3. Contacting the Lantern support team if you suspect a login or enrollment issue.

Certificates Tab

The Certificates tab lists all technicians who have completed the course with a Download button next to each name. Click Download to save a PDF copy of that technician’s completion certificate.

Certificates are available as soon as a technician reaches 100% completion. If a certificate is missing for a technician you believe has completed the course, check the Progress tab to confirm their completion percentage, then contact the Lantern support team if there is a discrepancy.

Note: Certificate download links require you to be logged in. Sharing the link by email will not work for the recipient unless they are also logged in to Lantern.
