Equipment Description

BeaconMedaes modular medical air systems pair Atlas Copco oil-injected medical compressors with the dMED duplex desiccant dryer to supply European Pharmacopoeia medical air for operating theatres and wards. Plants are designed to ISO 13485, CE marked to MDD 93/42/EEC, and specified to HTM and ISO medical-air standards.

The dMED converter runs six stages of active purification. Built-in purge control cuts purge losses by up to 90% depending on installation and demand. An optional Hopcalite filter converts CO to CO2 for Pharmacopoeia compliance at high-CO urban sites. The ES-MED central controller manages multiple compressors and duplex dryers over CAN, and the VSD option matches plant output to hospital demand.
