Gemini Medical Gas Outlets, part of the Diamond Series, are designed to be interchangeable with Ohio/Ohmeda/Medaes Diamond II and Diamond III medical gas outlets and accept only Diamond style pin-indexed adapters. A complete outlet consists of a rough-in permanently installed in the wall, ceiling, or manufactured assembly and a matching gas-specific finish assembly.
Outlet finish assemblies are a single unit keyed for gas specificity with a non-removable pin that aligns to a corresponding hole in the rough-in. Gas identification uses a color-coded circular keying disk and a color-coded latch label marked with the gas name in a contrasting color per NFPA 99 or ISO 7396. Wall and ceiling dress plates are integral to the finish assembly. Console-style outlets do not include a dress plate.

- Diamond II outlets can be upgraded to Diamond III or Gemini with a small modification.
