Equipment Description

The Ohio Medical Diamond II is a second-generation medical gas outlet produced from 1971 to 1978 (Model A30 series). It features a smooth-faced white plastic pressure piston, a circular-grain finish plate, and brass-with-O-ring rough-in seals. It can be upgraded to Gemini or DiamondCare outlets.

Diamond II outlets were produced from 1971 until 1978. There is no DISS II series outlet. The piston of the Diamond II pressure outlets is a smooth faced white plastic. The vacuum pistons have 3 grooves (peace symbol) on the face of them. The finish plate (item #2 below) had a circular grain pattern. The seal to the rough-in was made from brass with o-ring seals (Item #14 below). The model A30 series designates Diamond II outlets. This outlet can be upgraded to Gemini or DiamondCare.
